Definite staytion

The wireless network works! Yay! It's still lonely to be up here in the north without my love by my side, but I keep telling myself it'll only be for two nights.

I actually had a good day today. It's been sunny with blue skies all day. I started working by noon, and an hour later I got to sit by a lake for an hour reading my book. David Gemmell's Legend. It was great to just sit there, listen to the water and feeling the sun on my face.

Then back onto the bus again, this time with a new driver. In my job we often get very close to the drivers, depending on their personality of course. I like talking to them, it's an effective way to kill time in a pleasant way. Both of the two drivers I talked to today were great. The second one was actually Norwegian. This city is only 20 minutes away from the Norwegian border, so there are plenty of them here. They speak funny. Even though it's another language, it sounds more like an accent. Like American vs Australian. Or British vs Canadian. Norwegian has words we don't, and the other way around, but what American can understand a Scot anyway?

By 4:30 PM I was finished for the day, so I walked around the city trying to find cheap dinner. I failed with finding cheap warm meals, so I gave up and bought a pre-packed salad from the grocery store. Kinda tasty, but dull.

Remember that woman I can't stand? I won't have to! Our company has booked two small apartments at this hotel, and we're four girls sharing. Luckily, one of the apartments is bigger than the other. I get to share with the two other girls :) They get the king size bed (divided in two single beds, so they can have space in between them) and I get the couch bed. Awesome. It's like my own single room, just that I'll have to be quiet when leaving the apartment as their room is next to the little hallway, and mine is next to the kitchen.

I miss you, love, but I'll be back home soon. <3
